ZARA | Recent Picks

Since I never and I mean NEVER find stuff out here which catches my eye, my sister has been helping me in the wardrobe department, picking up stuff for me in the capital. Scored these two babies for me. Actually, the two-tone ZARA heels were originally hers. Nothing like scoring a few hand-me-downs from an elder sister, huh? Anyway, the leopard flats (also from ZARA) are really super-comfy and even though I'm starting to get tired of the whole leopard print frenzy, I still love it. Also got a new bag from the same brand and a pair of wet look trousers I luckily snagged at a sale in Mango (pictures will be up soon).

On the other hand. I've been taking a huge turn in the music department. Listening to genres I normally would call "meaningless" and "stupid" but I guess I'm feeling a little bit adventurous. And silly.

She Eats Alone

Today, I was pretty much alone the entire day. Had my training going on so I got up around 7:30 am and that's pretty darn early for me. Just a 7 hour training so it wasn't that hectic. Although I'm feeling pretty drowsy right now, just thought I'd post something or other to keep myself busy and stop myself from dozing off.

Anyway, just gonna post a few pictures I took while I was gorging on a burger and chips at The Rose

The furnishings were rather classy and sublime. White, clean and minimal. I felt like I was sitting at a hospital waiting-room, anticipating for a rather pleasant result from the doctor. I was content. Even though I was alone.

And this is what I ate.

And on the rickshaw ride back home, I was listening to my summer jam....

Almost perfect day, to say the least...

Dancing On My Own

Happy Easter Everyone!!

I'm sort of in a bad mood 

I've got an exam tomorrow and I havent even studied

Had beer and pizza yesterday with my friend Lamsong

I guess I'm still abit hungover

Pfttttsshh!!

"Dont ever talk to me again," she screamed

"Fine," he said coldly "I'll do as you say and I wont talk to you but be careful on your way home. Take care"

 She sighed heavily.

A deep sense of sadness and emptiness overwhelmed her.

She didnt mean it.

She didnt mean any of the words she told him.

But its okay

She wont stop living

She'll keep dancing on her own.

I've always liked Robyn. Ever since I was a kid. I remember when her single "Show me Love" came out on MTV in the 90s and  how almost immediately every girl in my hometown started sporting her signature closely-cropped hairstyle. Now that she's back on the music scene, I'm enjoying her music more than ever. A lot more electro than before. And what a quirky sense of style! You gotta love her ^.^

And when asked about her hair, she says, quote :" My hair has always been fly "

What This Means to Me - I see Stars

I've been listening to this band ever since one of my friends introduced me to em like 6 or 7 years ago. But somewhere along the line, I totally forgot about em. The first song I heard of theirs was "Save the Cheerleader" and I thought it was weird at first with all the screaming and really couldnt figure out what they were trying to say but I grew into it. And LOVED it. 

And you know how some memories come back to you when you listen to a song, or look at a photo or even smell a particular scent/odor and how that can totally take you back to that time or place.

FLASHBACK!!

Well, I started listening to their old songs and realized I didnt even know what they looked like! Like, seriously. Lol. I'm such an un-loyal fan! So I went to Youtube and checked out their videos....like for the first time. 

The vocalist is CUTE ^^

So there was this song of theirs that was posted about two years ago and I liked it. Brought me back to those days when I was really into hard rock/screamo/metal etc. etc.

Aaaanyway, came back from the departmental store and bought a new shampoo, baby oil for my hair [my sister told me how shiny her hair became after she oiled it with baby oil], a bar of soap, cream, milky bar, Marlboros and some other toiletries. And also I hogged on a Chicken Supreme from an outlet called The French Loaf.

Trying to watch my weight. HAH!
